I can't figure out what to do next - I can't find a way past the mousetraps in the building, and I can't find the "tube of lube". I like the style so far though.

My main feedback is I think the controls would be improved if you always strafe while holding the shoot button. I always press the strafe button every time I shoot anyway. If you wanted to change direction you could easily stop holding the button for just a moment.

Wasabiheat responds:

both rooms with mousetraps also have something in them that can be pushed around, give that a try. You may need a special item to access one of them though. (also, don't worry about that lube tube, it's not necessary to complete the demo)

I have to wait for a minute every time i die? Screw this. I could tolerate the repetitiveness and complete lack of any kind of originality if the rest of the game was playable.

blit-blat responds:

Not sure what you mean, sorry. Where are you dying and why are you waiting? There shouldn’t be any big delay like that.

Got a pretty big problem: around the start of Tower Keep, maybe because I got the Shield, the music stopped playing and the game started lagging really badly, even on my gaming laptop. Apart from that, my main feedback is that the playing area should be smaller or the game window should be bigger. Having extra space at the edges makes it way easier to shoot below yourself, especially when you're in a panic. Also, more frequent checkpoints please. Between those problems, I gave up on that one room with the spikes.

I'm a sucker for gravity-based platformers, but this one is pretty much unplayable for a few reasons.
1. There's no indication of where gravity changes. It's impossible to plan ahead and levels become dumb trial and error.
2. Jump key. You should be able to jump using only the designated button, not the direction keys, as there are often times that it's best to hold diagonally. and up-jump becomes a hindrance.
3. The air controls are wonk and feel bad. This is the only platformer I can remember playing where you keep your full velocity in the air without holding a direction key.

Interesting idea. Kind of falls apart when you're in a cramped room with five guys shooting at you.

I like the concept. And I understand that the controls being bad is sort of the point, but this is too much. Especially when the odd isometric view makes it hard to tell where the edges of you and the objects actually are, the claw range is too small, and the random locations of the target objects makes it too dependent on luck.

I don't know what's going on. I don't know what any of the things in the hive do. I have no idea how to get more food. You need to understand that players don't start out magically knowing things, and that you need to actually tell them.

Great potential but Raziel is a terrible boss. Two attacks that are laughably easy to dodge but waste your time, the one counterable attack that's easy to dodge but hard to counter, then a second phase that's seemingly unbeatable??

Well, that was cool until I failed on the level Bricks were introduced because the game just straight-up did not give me enough Pig seeds to feed it

I like this one, best of the month so far.

My main complaint is that the early levels are weird to figure out. It really needs a few very short and easy levels just to introduce the mechanics before you get into the actual puzzling. I can imagine a few people gave up on understanding and quit at the first level.

Second main complaint is that the camera scrolls from the top every single time you restart the stage, which is really just an unnecessary wait.

Also, the game suddenly froze while I was wandering around trying to figure out the final level. Also also, I can't figure out the final level. Like I slide the bomb across the ice to get the laser to explode everything but the top, but then I don't have enough bombs to get to the top area and explode it.

Play my games, they're okay
