The collision is jank at times, there isn't enough visual distinction between the start and no-start areas, and it's weird that brightness scales linearly with radius instead of area, but apart from that, it's a calm enough game.
how do you do level 6
I don't have anything negative to say about this game, it's just really not much of anything
Why do the spikes blend in with the environment so bad? Why isn't immediate sun-moon control in the game to begin with? Why are there so many blind jumps? Why doesn't health get refilled at the start of a level?
oh boy i sure do love precision platforming at the top of the screen where i can't even see myself. also why does running out of ink kill you? that makes no sense design-wise
I found one or two levels where there was platforming on the top of the screen, but I never saw it as an issue since they could all be completed with your character fully visible; if it seems to be an issue for a majority of players I’ll see to some changes.
I chose to have the player die from running out of ink since a main part of the game is using your ink efficiently and I never saw it as an issue, again if most players don’t seem to enjoy this mechanic I’ll make some changes in the future.
Thanks for playing!
I don't even have much to say about this game, other than that the visual design and high-and-low contrast is a pain on the eyes, the text scrolls way too slow in both the opening and NPC dialog, half the boss's attacks can't reasonably be dodged, the boss music stops playing after the first death, and there's just nothing interesting at all happening for the entire game.
It's kinda cute, and the last level was fairly interesting. The main things holding me back are the player power/health mechanic which does not add anything to the puzzles at all and only confuses or causes annoying resets in what's otherwise a lax game, and that it lags badly even on my beefy laptop.
it is sadly a bit demanding, I haven't seen it run well on any laptop unfortunately
The low contrast is not doing this game any favors when it comes to the circle guide, especially when Midnight Block has both the lowest contrast and is one of the hardest levels.
The lack of sound or visual effects when the player or an enemy is hit really makes the game feel unimpactful. The boss fight alternates between an annoying in-your-face chase and a pathetically easy windmill. And what's up with the filter? It hurts the eye, both with the pointless colors and how plain ugly it is. Oh, and there's a glitch where reloading manually doesn't stop you from shooting so you can keep shooting forever unless you hit 0 ammo.
Play my games, they're okay
